The GM Platinum credit card is one of the most popular credit cards available. The most striking feature of this GM Credit card is the points benefit programme and it is the most valuable programme offered by any card in the UK.

For every £100 you spent on the GM platinum card, it rewards you with £3 back in rebate points which could get you up to £2,000 off a brand new Vauxhall car or up to £2,500 off a new Saab car.

You also get 100 rebate points the first time you use your card. Its issued by HFC Bank one of the largest credit card issuers in the UK. They have a 24 hour customer service line that allows you to make changes to your account any time of day or night as well as the ability to manage all your account spending online. Normally cards with strong reward schemes have high interest rates but the GM Card is one of the most competitive on the market. They offer an excellent rate of 0% for 5 months, not only on balance transfers like some credit cards but also on purchases. The standard rate is only 14.9% APR (typical) making this a fantastic all round package.

British Airways Credit Card

The British Airways credit card is provided by British Airways, in collaboration with American Express, one of the largest financial institutions in the world, and this card is easily accepted throughout the world.
The British Airway credit card is an excellent deal for you if you are an existing member of the BA Executive Club loyalty program or you are a frequent traveler on British Airways looking to make the most of a reward point based credit card.
For every single Pound you spend on the BA credit card you earn BA air-miles which you can use on British Airways to get free flights, upgrades or companion tickets.
There are 2 cards on offer the British Airways Credit Card, which offers 1 BA mile for every £1 spent and the BA Premium Plus Card which offers 1.5 BA miles for every £1 spent.
However, this card comes at a cost. The interest rates are very high, typically 26% APR on the premium plus card so this is really only a great card if you pay your balance off in full, each month. They do however offer a lifetime balance transfer rate of 4.9% APR, which is a real good bargain.
If you do pay off your bill each month then simply putting all your daily expenditure on the card could soon lead to enough points for that dream trip you've always wanted!

British Airways Credit Card Summary Review

The standard rate is really very high but the lifetime balance transfer offer is quite attractive and competitive. However, this card is really for the people who want to pay the balance off each month and get a decent reward scheme. The BA scheme is one of the best and at 1.5 miles per £1 spent the average person can easily build up a useful amount of miles to get some good benefits.
